How can I save my kids art work?

Let's face it, your kids produce a lot of art work, and while each looks like the Mona Lisa to you, it simply isn't feasible to save each piece, unless you want to end up on an episode of Hoarders.  So how do you save your kid's best pieces (and have a good response to when your kids see their art in the trash)? Luckily, there are apps to help save the day!  We think there are a few criteria to consider when selecting the app

1. Can you take pictures and videos of the art? 

Taking a picture and saving it is great, but we believe taking a video of your child explaining their piece helps them feel involved and adds a touch of meaning to future viewing. 

2. Can you share with family and friends? 

While every piece may not be perfect, there are definitely some that are grandparent worthy, so the app should allow you to easily share.

3. Can you easily scroll through the art? 

 One of the problems with apps, is that you end up with the digital equivalent of the stack of papers.  There are so many pieces you just can get through them easily.  The best app will allow you to scroll through your child's art with an Instagram like feed.  

4. Can you be reminded of the pieces at a future date?

As you build your digital library, it becomes easy to forget individual pieces, so it is helpful to be able to reminded of their past great works at some future date.
